Tactical Advantage Consultants (TAC) just finished teaching this 13th Broward County Grant Advanced Marine Operations Course. Eleven Agencies were in attendance from the State Florida. Over Thirty Law Enforcement Officers from Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, Boynton Beach Police Department, Delray Beach Police Department, Hallandale Beach Police Department, Highland Beach Police Department, Hollywood Police Department, Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, Lighthouse Point Police Department, North Miami Beach Police Department, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Volusia County Sheriff’s Office successfully completed the four day advanced course in marine vessel operations and live firearm and less than lethal training .
Ten very seasoned TAC trainers retired and active from FMP/(FFWCC), Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Miami PD, Miami FD, Sunny Isles Beach PD, West Palm Beach PD, Aventura PD and Broward Sheriff’s Office. Members from the Broward County Marine Advisory Council (MAC) and the MAC Grant Coordinator assisted and supported the training.The Pompano Beach Power Squadron provided the location for the classroom portion. This advanced marine police training course is specifically designed for marine patrol officers and supervisors that work in maritime law enforcement. The HANDS-ON training will significantly enhance the skills and safety of the officers
that are assigned to proactive enforcement activities, boating safety and marine domestic security details. The
framework for this course was based on the needs and requests of the local south Florida marine law enforcement

The International Terrorist Threat in 2025, and Agency Liability: Civil, Criminal and Vicarious.
TAC staff members are all full time and retired Marine Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue supervisors. They are certified Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission trainers, high liability instructors and experts in their particular field.
They have over 250 years of combined marine police experience and have trained officers in over 35 States as well as in other countries.
